About the Job
A homecare nurse is required to provide medical support and nursing care to patients in their homes. The nurse will assist with treatments, medication, monitoring, and daily living activities based on the patient’s care plan.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care at Home

Provide nursing care according to the patient’s care plan.

Support patients with mobility, grooming, and basic daily activities.
Health Monitoring

Check and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).

Observe patient symptoms and changes in health condition.
Medication & Treatment
-
Administer prescribed medicines and injections.

Perform dressing changes, wound care, and catheter care.

Assist with medical procedures as instructed by physicians.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate patient records.

Document all treatments and observations.

Report any major changes in patient condition to the supervising doctor or care coordinator.
Patient & Family Education

Guide patients and family members on how to manage illnesses at home.

Teach correct use of medications, hygiene, and home care practices.
Emotional & Psychological Support

Offer emotional encouragement to patients during recovery.

Provide comfort and support to families dealing with long-term care situations.
Coordination with Healthcare Professionals
The nurse will work closely with:
